Jessica & Steven

Raleigh is asleep, so I have a chance to go back through some of my old events and post some pictures!

The wedding of Jessica and Matt took place March 3, 2007. The ceremony was held at St. Brigid Catholic Church and the reception was at The Atlanta National Golf Club. Jessica was one of the happiest brides I have ever worked with, she was glowing all night! It was my first opportunity to work with the very talented Art Pinney, who did a fabulous job! Here are just a few of my favorite images.

TidBits

Beth included this image with her tidbits and I stole it...because I love it!
Players list 8 facts/habits about themselves. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning before those facts/habits are listed. At the end of the post, players then tags 8 people by posting their names and makes sure they know they’ve been tagged by leaving a comment at the tagee’s blog.

1. I am a nailbitter.

2. I am the second oldest of nine children.

3. I want to take photography classes.

4. My husband said he likes his "new and improved wife" because I now will play a videogame with him...I like Wii bowling, I admit it.

5. I talk to my daughter like a grown up.

6. My husband told his mom he was going to marry me 2 weeks after we met (she told me right after), but I didn't let him know I knew!

7. If I find a pair of jeans that fit...I buy 3 of the same ones. I hate buying jeans.

8. I can not seem to do dishes the same night we use them. I pile the dishes in the sink before I put them in the dishwasher and wait for the next time I need to fill it to unload it. I hate doing the laundry too. I leave the stuff in the dryer and have to fluff it up at least once (sometimes 3 times) before I get them out to hang them up. I am horrible, huh? (I'm just going to steal your answer)

Those are my confessions. Any of yours the same?

Thank You

Yesterday I was greeted at the door by a bright pink box...and inside was the most gorgeous bouquet of Iris' I have ever seen! A sweet 'thank you' for the thoughtful Katie and Chris.

They are amazing photographers and I am greatly looking forward to working with them again this weekend. Check out their site: www.6offourcreations.com

Nintendo Wii

I hate video games...anyone who knows me knows I just do not play them. Anyone who knows my family knows they all do, and are quite competative and quite good!!

Well, my husband had the opportunity to play the Wii at a friend's house and was completely obsessed with getting one...and by the way, who knew they were such a hot ticket. We finally did get one and let me tell you...it is a totally different experience than any gaming console you have ever played! It is so much fun! I never in my life thought I would say this but my Wii Me rocks at Golf and Bowling and everyone should just watch out :)!!!

If you haven't tried it, you should! ...and my husband is loving his 'new and improved video game playing wife' lol!!!

My family had the pleasure of working with Sky and Carla again...they came out and took my maternity pictures a few months ago! This time little Raleigh was the center of attention in a different way! Richard's grandmother was also in town, so we were able to capture of 4 generation shot, which is so special! Here are just a few of my favorites!!

Weddingwire.com

If you have not already been introduced to it...Wedding Wire is a relatively new resource for brides to find vendors. It allows former brides to rate their vendors and leave comments. It also allows wedding vendors to leave endorsements for other vendors. It's a very interesting networking tool. Check it out when you have a chance! www.weddingwire.com

A big thanks to our past brides who have taken a moment to share their experiences...it is always so rewarding to hear your reviews, they mean so much to me!
